Rafinha signs a new contract

Rafinha and FC Barcelona will continue their path together until June 30, 2020. The midfielder will sign a new contract with the club, with Barça confirming an agreement between both parties on Monday. His new release clause will be 75 million euros.

The serious injury suffered by Rafiha in the match between Roma and Barcelona in September has not altered the Catalan club’s plans. They still believe the Brazilian has a big part to play in the future. It’s for that reason that they have followed through with their offer of a new contract, a clear sign of confidence in the player.

Rafinha is currently working hard on his recovery in a bid to be back in action before the end of the current campaign. His injury arrived just when he was beginning to become a regular in Luis Enrique’s side. Up until that point, he had been one of the most used players this season.
