Ivan Rakitic didn’t place too much emphasis on the dropped points against Deportivo La Coruna, instead preferring to look forward to the Club World Cup in Japan.
The Barcelona midfielder scored the second goal at Camp Nou on Saturday, only for Depor to produce a stunning comeback to leave with a point.
“Sometimes it’s difficult to explain what has happened,” Rakitic told TV3.
“We had control of the game, but in football these things happen and in three minutes a lot things can happen.
“Now we have to analyse it, sit down together and talk about it so there’s no repeat. We are positive.
“You have to speak about how you’re playing, to improve.”
Barça fly to Japan on Sunday for the Club World Cup and the Croatian international has set his sights on returning with the trophy.
“We have to be better in the coming games,” he acknowledged.
“Now we have a lot of excitement for the Club World Cup.
“It’s a really special trophy and we want to bring it back to Barcelona for the fans and for everyone else.
“We won’t lack motivation or enthusiasm in Japan.”
