Barcelona’s squad and their family spent Friday afternoon having fun at Port Aventura theme park. Manager Luis Enrique had the idea, getting everybody together to help build team spirit, along with the coaches and their families. Only Ivan Rakitic and Rafinha were not there, as they continue working on their respective injuries at the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despi.
Port Aventura is the biggest theme park in Spain and one of the most important in Europe, getting more and more visitors each year. The first team squad didn’t miss anything, with the park shut to outside visitors. They went to the Polynesia, China, Mexico, Far West, Mediterranean and Sesame Street adventure areas. Some of the most famous rides they went on are Shambhala, Dragon Khan and Hurricane Condor.
The youngsters got to enjoy meeting Woody and other characters in the Sesame sector. This is the first time that Barcelona and all their families have gone to this park, which was opened specially for the visit as it’s usually closed Monday-Friday at this time of year.
