Luis Suarez and Neymar each scored to help Barcelona remain atop the table in La Liga after dispatching Getafe 2-0 at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Saturday.
Suarez fired the Catalans in front eight minutes before the break, collecting a fine Sergio Roberto back-heeled pass before slotting into onrushing Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita’s near post.
Neymar spectacularly made his mark in the 58th minute, first-time volleying a perfectly-weighted Roberto long ball past a helpless Guiata with his left foot.
The South American duo have accounted for the last 14 of Barcelona’s league goals over the past seven games.
The three points give Barca 24 points on the season, level with arch-rivals Real Madrid.
