Luis Enrique lavished praise on Neymar after his wonder goal in Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Villarreal.
The Barça boss hailed a “unique” player and talked about the comparisons with the club’s former Brazilian star Ronaldinho.
“We are talking about a unique player, a special player,” he said about Neymar.
“I’m not good with comparisons. I was lucky enough to play with Ronaldinho and we would be flabbergasted just watching him.
“[Neymar’s] goal was wonderful [against Villarreal]; both players are unique and Neymar is key for the team.”
Pushed on whether the 23-year-old is now the second best player in the world, behind Lionel Messi, Luis Enrique would not be drawn.
“I will let you all decide for yourselves,” he responded.
“I’m delighted to have Neymar, Leo [Messi], [Sergio Busquets] Busi, Andres [Iniesta] and Luis [Suarez]…
“I feel very privileged. They are unique players who use their abilities for the good of the team.”
