Barcelona are after an addition in their forward line, but this time they want a new Henrik Larrson to join their squad as they eye a move for Dirk Kuyt.
Kuyt, who was a big hit with the fans during his spell at Anfield, is currently at Feyenoord.
The Catalan giants are currently under a transfer embargo until January.
But according to Spanish paper Sport, Barca are keen to add some attacking reinforcements to their ranks.
The report suggests Kuyt has emerged as a target as they are looking for a player in the mold of Henrik Larsson.
Larsson, who is fondly remembered for his goal-scoring exploits at Celtic, proved to be a valuable squad player when he moved to the Nou Camp in 2004.
It is thought Kuyt could provide a similar impact to the aforementioned Swede.
Valencia striker and former Manchester City player Alvaro Negredo is also being considered as a potential target.
