According to TalkSport, Manchester United will have to battle Barcelona if they want to secure the signature of Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.
Reus signed a new contract at Dortmund in February earlier this year, keeping him at the club until 2019.
However, reports in Spain are now claiming that Barcelona will make a move for the 26-year-old once their transfer ban ends.
Man United have been linked with Reus for the past few seasons now and the rumors never seem to die down. The German international is often touted to be United’s ‘marquee’ signing but a move has never seemed close to materializing.
This summer, there were suggestions that Louis van Gaal had tried making a swoop for Reus on transfer deadline day. ESPN claimed that United had refused to pay Dortmund’s asking price as Adnan Januzaj went on loan to the German side.
It looks as if this is yet another one of those long, drawn-out transfer sagas. With Barcelona still under a ban by FIFA and not able to make any transfers, it will be a long time before they make a move for Reus.

I don’t think they should go for Reus because they cant guarantee him first team game time…
Go for a player who is content sit on bench and play when called upon…
Nolito is a better bet…
