Barcelona could qualify for the Champions League last 16 as early as next week.
After beating BATE Borisov on Tuesday night and seeing Roma and Bayer Leverkusen spectacularly draw 4-4 in Germany, things could go very well for the Catalans.
Barcelona lead Group E with seven points, with Bayer on four, BATE on three and Roma on two. One circumstance would allow Barcelona to qualify next week.
If Barcelona beat BATE in Camp Nou and Roma do not beat Bayer Leverkusen in Rome, then Luis Enrique’s side will reach the second phase, as neither BATE nor Roma could then match them on 10 points.
