Barcelona‘s Brazilian star Neymar has put his contract talks on hold.
The 23-year-old was targeted by Premier League giants Manchester United over the summer as manager Louis van Gaal was in search of another forward.
He even confirmed that he held talks with United during the recent window, but did not personally receive any offers from the club.
“We had conversations, but there was nothing concrete,” he said.
“I heard that there were offers, but none made it to me.”

However, it is now said that the Brazil international has stalled talks over a new contract with the La Liga champions amid speculation that the forward was considering a switch to Old Trafford.
Barca are looking to convince Neymar to remain at club by making him one of the highest paid players at the Camp Nou, with wages of about £200,000-a-week.
The Red Devils are still short of options in attack despite the £36million signing of Anthony Martial from Monaco during the summer.
