Messi is on training track

FC Barcelona continued their preparation for the Clasico on Tuesday with a training session which once again included Lionel Messi.

However, they are still waiting for the return of some of their internationals, although the Spanish players are due back earlier than anticipated after Tuesday’s friendly with Belgium was suspended.

All the players available trained on the Tito Vilanova pitch at the Ciudad Deportiva, with several Barça B and Juvenil A players involved.

From Barça B there was: Godswill, Palencia, Ros, Enguene, Camara, Romera, Costa and Paik.

Meanwhile, from Juvenil A there was: Carbonell, Blanco, Carles Perez, Mujica, Busquets, Ferran Sarsanedas, Eric Montes and Juanma.

Gerard Lopez and Gabri Garcia also oversaw the session.

All eyes were fixed on Messi and his evolution after recently returning to training — although this was once again a fairly undemanding session.

On Wednesday, at 11.00h,  Luis Enrique will take the next training session just four days ahead of the Clasico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
