Despite suffering a broken jaw and nose, Robert Lewandowski is not ruling out playing for Bayern Munich at Camp Nou next week.
“It’s a few more days till the match at Camp Nou,” he wrote on his Twitter account. “I Really hope I will be able to play.”
The injury ocurred during Tuesday night’s penalty shootout defeat to Borussia Dortmund when the Polish striker clashed with Australian goalkeeper Mitchell Landerak.
He also suffered concussion, as well as the breaks.
Bayern have not communicated on their press release when he will be able to play, but for Lewandowski to want be thinking about playing, with a double fracture, seems optimistic.
If he does miss out, Bayern will be missing six players for the first leg against Barça
