Marc Andre ter Stegen is one of the goalkeepers with the most potential in the world. And the former Borussia Dortmund and current Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp wants to bring him to Anfield for next season.
Klopp has recognised that Liverpool need a new goalkeeper between the sticks, unconvinced of Simon Mignolet and Adan Bogdan’s qualities.
The German coach wants to convince Ter Stegen that the goal in Anfield will be exclusively his, unlike at Barcelona, where he has to share with Claudio Bravo.
Klopp’s intention is to take advantage of the frustration of the former Monchengladbach stopper, who is not being picked in La Liga this season. He even cut his holiday short to try and get in Lucho’s good books. Not even Claudio Bravo’s injury helped, because as soon as the Chilean could play, he went back in the team.
