Robert Goncalves is officially a Barcelona player. The club announced the loan of the striker from Fluminense until June 30 on Wednesday night, after it was revealed last week by SPORT.
The Brazilian striker, 20, will play with Gerard Lopez’s Barcelona B side after passing his medical, and will train with his new team-mates from Thursday.
The player recently spoke to Weloba and said he hopes to succeed at Barcelona. “I will bring ‘jogo bonito’ and I hope to convince the club to buy me at the end of the season,” he said. It should be remembered that Robert is a Brazil intenrational.
Barring any surprises, Robert will debut with the Barcelona youth side at the weekend, when they face Cornella in the Mini Estadi.
