If anyone is worried about Neymar being seduced by the charms of another economic superpower -whether that’s Real Madrid, PSG or United- do not worry any more. You can now breathe easy, sit on the couch and watch Barcelona take on Villanovense with all the tranquility in the world because ‘Ney’ has no intention of going anywhere. Well, actually that’s not true. He wants to move to a new house near his two great friends in the squad: Leo Messi and Luis Suarez. The MSN could further strengthen their ties by sharing their personal lives living very close to each other. The Brazilian striker, who is currently renting in Barcelona, likes the area Gava Mar.
While his father has started negotiations to extend the current contract with the club, although he has two and a half years remaining, Neymar is determined to buy a property, confirming that his intention and desire is to set permanent residence in Barcelona. The Brazilian has taken about two months looking for a place where he can lay his roots, possibly in Gava Mar, which allows him to live close to Leo Messi and Luis Suarez, who are based in Castelldefels.
If someone wanted to break up the MSN, they will be discouraged because the Brazilian wants home ownership, the Argentine recently acquired a second home by his current address and Uruguayan hitman is building a house.
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez assured fans that he is satisfied at the club and that he would not even leave for “triple or quadruple the money”. He also said he expects to stay for “many years”.
“I suffered a lot to get here, to play for the team I always wanted to play for and now, even for triple of quadruple the money, I wouldn’t leave. I want to be here, my family is happy and we know the city really well. It’s impossible that I would leave Barça in the coming years. I can’t guarantee that I will retire here, but if I go it will be in a long time,” he insisted.
Suarez was presenting a new pair of boots at an Adidas event and he also said it’s impossible to imagine Lionel Messi leaving, either. “As of today, he is happy at the club and in a good moment, so it’s impossible [he could leave]. His family is happy, which is a plus. He’s given everything to this club.”
Still on Messi, Suarez said he was the best player in the world, despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s claim to the throne. “Leo is like this, he is natural. The only thing he has had to learn is to shoot with his right foot. Cristiano is a great player and has improved each year, but Leo is natural, he has been since he was a little. He is the best in the world and he will be for a long time.”
On Real Madrid, Suarez was cautious about getting carried away by Barça’s six point lead. “This is Madrid and they always pick themselves up. Now they’re in a moment they didn’t expect, but last year we had that, too, and we ended up winning the treble.”
