Marc-Andre ter Stegen 6
Had very little to do as he returned to the side. Comfortable.
Dani Alves 6
Booked for an overzealous first challenge in the first period. Still not getting forward with the same vigour as previously.
Gerard Pique 7
Calm, even-handed peformance, a big improvement after his showing against Rayo Vallecano.
Marc Bartra 7
Given a start by Luis Enrique and didnt’t let the coach down. A solid display.
Jordi Alba 6
Seems to be careful going forward at the moment, not getting involved in sweeping attacks like he used to.
Javier Mascherano 6
A standard, battling display, exactly as we have come to expect from the Argentine on a standard day.
Sergio Busquets 7
Booked for a handball which stopped a BATE counter early on. Inches away from opening the scoring after his back-post effort flew across goal. Helped Barcelona stave off any pressure in the second period.
Sergi Roberto N/A
Taken off after 15 minutes after sustaining an injury.
Munir El Haddadi 6
God into good positions but didn’t receive the ball from his team-mates. Taken off for Sandro after 69 minutes.
Luis Suarez 6
The striker made one or two good moves but overall wasn’t at his best. Did well to set up Neymar in stoppage time, but the striker fired over.
Neymar 9
Denied early on by a good save from Chernik and caused a lot of danger – but should have set up Munir in the first half instead of looking for Suarez. Arguably too selfish; it was when he drove forward but fed Rakitic that Barcelona struck – not once, but twice.
SUBS
Ivan Rakitic 8
Headed over a fine chance in the first half after a great ball in from Alves, but made no mistake when drilling home in the second half from the edge of the box. Added a second with a delicate dink after Neymar played him in.
Sandro Ramirez N/A
Standard Lucho substitution. Did nothing special.
Gerard Gumbau N/A
Brought on to give Busquets some rest in the last 20 minutes.
