Luis Enrique played down the importance of the Clasico to Barcelona’s season. His side travel to the Spanish capital to face Real Madrid on November 21.
Asked about how important arriving the game ahead of Madrid was, he replied: “What interests me is to be champions of the league.
“I would prefer to arrive with an advantage to this game, obviously, but it’s not a determinant. It wasn’t like that last year,” he explained.
On Douglas’ commitment: “He played more than 80 minutes with a broken bone in his foot.”
On Adriano: “He’s an excellent person and very smart, a great player and with a lot of weight in the dressing room.”
On Iniesta and Sergi Roberto: “If they’re on the list it means they can play for the team. Although they lack the competition rhythm having been out of action.”
