First session of the year with an eye on Espanyol

FC Barcelona march on as following Wednesday’s 4-0 win over Betis, Luis Enrique’s team are now busy preparing themselves for the Catalan derby against Espanyol on Saturday at 4.00pm CET at the Power8 Stadium. On Friday Luis Enrique took the side for their final session before the clash with their city rivals.

The good news was the medical all clear for defender Douglas. The Brazilian is available for the first time since being injured in the first leg of the Copa del Rey tie against Villanovense.

Barça begin a run of three games in less than two week against Espanyol on Saturday, two in the Copa del Rey and one in the league, as part of busy January of fixtures.
