Paris Saint-Germain have signed highly rated youngster Kais Ruiz, 12, who is of French origin, who since 2014 has not been able to play for FC Barcelona because of the FIFA sanction imposed on the Catalan club.
Barcelona are currently facing a FIFA-imposed sanction because of irregularities in their signing of underage players as a result, several youth players in the Catalan side’s academy have been badly impacted.
The player has even uploaded photos with the Barça No.10 on his Instagram page as recently as this year.
He joined Barça at the age of seven and those that have seen him play have made comparisons with Lionel Messi.
The youngster is of French origin and has drawn comparisons with Barcelona icon Lionel Messi.
However, Kais Ruiz, who is nearly 13, will now continue his professional growth away from the Catalan club after his move to PSG was made official.
According to the French press, his family have already found a place to live in Yvelines and the Paris-based club have given his dad a job as a scout.
Meanwhile, Barcelona’s first team are on a pre-season tour of the United States and are due to play LA Galaxy today.
